As the release of this newsletter, the Senate passed a Continuing Resolution (CR) to extend government spending through December 20, 2019. California has the authority to expend 9.2 million of the available first quarter CSBG funds for Federal Fiscal Year 2020 which were authorized in the CR that ended on November 21, 2019. This is only a proportional share of the first quarter funding. CSBG 2020 contracts were released on November 7, 2019; CSD will notify the CSBG network on the amount of funds available for each agency to spend when this information is available. Upon execution of the CSBG contract, each agency will receive a working capital advance.
