On Wednesday, May 15, 2019, the biennial election of CalCAPA Officers, Special Representative, and Committee Chairs, will be held as part of the Annual Business Meeting. The two (2) year terms will begin at the conclusion of the 2019 Annual Business Meeting. The elections and annual meeting will take place during the 2019 Legislative Day and Annual CalCAPA Conference being held on May 13-16, 2019 at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in Sacramento, CA.
Nominations of individuals as candidates for the upcoming CalCAPA Elections are currently being accepted. Please confirm with any candidate you nominate that they are willing to accept the nomination to run for office and meet the requirements for the position.
It is anticipated that the Election Committee will present a slate of candidates on or near Monday, April 1, 2019, by mail (and e-mail) to CalCAPA’s Member Agencies. Additional information will be forthcoming regarding the specific election procedures and absentee ballot requirements.
