Director of Training and Technical Assistance

This position will oversee our Training and Technical Assistance efforts and review established (existing) policies and systems that are used to identify, select and reach out to member agencies in regards to their training and technical assistance needs. The position will also involve providing direct T&TA to member agencies at various times.

The position will work with the Executive Director in operating Cal-CAPA’s state and federal grants and meeting reporting requirements. The position will a large role in the development and design of the Cal-CAPA annual conference for its member agencies. BA and 10 years management experience operating similar programs. Community Action experience a must and state Community
Action Association experience preferred. Competitive Salary and benefits depending on experience and qualifications.

Salary Range $70,000-$75,000

Executive Assistant

This position will be a critical position and will help with coordination of the Executive Director, the Director of T&TA, and the Training Coordinator as those positions will frequently be working remotely and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Will be responsible for updating the website and managing
email lists, assisting with logistics for planning board meetings and conferences. Good technology skills are critical. Must be a self starter and be able to multi-task. Five years experience Community Action or state Community Action Association experience preferred. Competitive Salary and benefits depending on experience and qualifications.

Salary range $45,000-$50,000

Training Coordinator and Director of Curriculum Development

This position will be responsible for coordinating training/technical assistance for local agencies and providing hands on training at local level in a variety of categories including board governance, strategic planning, Results Oriented Management and Accountability, marketing and more. The position will also work the Director of T&TA on planning a large annual conference each year to benefit Cal-CAPA members. This position will work closely with the Director of Training and Technical Assistance in the operation of Cal-CAPA’s state and federal contracts. BA and 7 years management experience operating similar programs. Community Action experience a must and state Community Action Association experience preferred. Competitive Salary and benefits depending on experience and qualifications.

Salary range $60,000-$65,000
